Are You a Pro? 3 Stages of a Network Marketer-Eric Worre’s New Book – Go Pro

This past weekend we were fortunate enough to meet Eric Worre in person and we were able to pick up his new Book Go Pro at the No Excuses Summit. The book talks about 3 stages of a Network Marketer and we are going to cover that in this post. We will help you answer the question on whether you are a Poser, an Amateur, or a Pro.

Eric was one of the speakers this past weekend at No Excuses. After the day was over we also got an opportunity to spend an extra 2 hours with Eric in a room picking his brain. EricWorreIf you don’t know who Eric is, he is a top earner in network marketing and the host of Network Marketing Pro. He has hosted over 861 videos and interviews on his blog. While we were at No Excuses we picked up a copy of his book and we wanted to share with you a few key points from the book. 3 Stages of a Network Marketer

  1. Poser – This Stage is when you are looking for the silver bullet. You are really not committed and you have not made the choice to take this profession seriously. go pro amazon order pictureAt this point you are dipping your toes in the water but you are not putting in the work required to actually get long term consistent results. You are hoping this is a get rich quick opportunity (if those even exist) and if you can’t shift out of this mindset you will most likely fail in this industry.
  2. Amateur – You care, you want to be successful, you are trying everything to get there…BUT that is the biggest problem. You are focused on so many different strategies, you are focused on positioning, you ask a lot of questions: do i have the right upline, am I in the right company, is the product good, should I get into a “pre-launch opportunity. Also, amateurs try every strategy out there but never become a Pro at any one of them. Amateurs see the new shiny object or strategy and they think that this is the one that will make them a million dollars. Next thing you know the amateur has bought hundreds or even thousands of dollars in training programs and they move onto the next cool strategy and training before mastering the first one. If you are a jack of all trades and a master of none, then you will not see success in this industry.
  3. Pro – Definition from Wikipedia: A professional is an expert who is a master in a specific field. Are you a professional in network marketing or is it a hobby? It’s simple, it doesn’t matter what you may have heard, but this industry is not easy and the people that have massive success, or really any success at all, they all have become professionals in this industry. Many of them are authorities for specific strategies. What are you a Pro at? Are you an authority for a strategy in this profession? Are you going to treat this opportunity like a profession or like a hobby? The answer to that question will dictate your results and your income in this industry.
