Today, I will lay out my simple process to present your products in a way that makes people want to know more and what makes them find your products irresistible.

At a very basic level, it’s about how to be more powerful in your presenting.  More confident.

I felt like this would be an important concept to share with you since this question kept coming up in my group coaching program…

“How do I get my product out there more in a way that people want to buy it?”

Here’s what ends up happening when people come online…

They have this idea that if they put themselves out there and constantly talk about how excited they are about their business and all of the things that make them special…

Then high quality prospects will immediately start paying attention to them and they’ll get more customers and teammates…

And they hear nothing but crickets from all their hard work promoting.

Instead…

We told these students to talk more about their products and what effect using the product had on them.

Think about it…

Have you had personal impact or has someone you know gotten an impact from the product you sell?

It doesn’t matter if you’ve lost weight, you now have better skin or have gotten some level of financial freedom…

Being a product of the product is very beneficial when sharing your product online.

If you haven’t gotten results yet, it’s ok… Just use other people’s stories.

Because if you don’t…

Here are the big no-no’s with what most people do that keeps them stuck…

Most people start talking about what the product ‘IS’ for them.

They think they’re sharing what it’s ‘DONE’ for them and the impact they’ve had…

But what they’re really talking about is what it “IS” …

…a pill, a shake, an organic meal alternative, a marketing plan, a strategy, a way to close more people, a way to be healthier, a way to have consistency, a way to decrease belly fat…

You get the picture, right?

But let’s take a minute and discuss the problem with talking about what your product is…

Think about it…

Has anyone ever spent hours thinking, stewing and stressing over how they didn’t get their 72 organic fruits and greens in their body before their head hit the pillow at the end of the day?

Well ok, maybe like 2 people lol…

But the majority of people aren’t phased by that stuff because you’re only hitting the surface of what your product can do for people. Talking about your product this way is only going to show them the surface level problems your product can solve…

Like getting healthy…

Losing weight…

Being more financially free…

And blah, blah, blah.

But if you want to really stand out…

If you want to hit them in the heart with what really matters, then talk about what has to be done to make a bigger, better impact on their LIFE.

Just like one of my students’ Tasha starting doing.

Picture this…

Imagine watching your son every day lack confidence in his appearance.

He’s a teenager who has acne that makes him self conscious about how he looks.

And you as a Mom have tried everything to help him…

Every cream… pill… spray… diet change and NOTHING is working…

And for Tasha…

It was one of the most heart wrenching things to watch…

As your baby struggles and doesn’t like what he’s sees in the mirror.

And what’s even worse is knowing that there is nothing you can do to help…

Until suddenly…

You stumble upon a new skin care cream and routine that drastically clears up his acne in record time, is safe for his skin and boosts his confidence which makes him a happier kid altogether.

I mean, what Mom wouldn’t want to reach out to Tasha after hearing that story and get connected to her so they can get that cream for their kid who struggles with the same thing?

Tasha’s story gives me chills because it is a great example showing how to share a stories that talks about what a product has DONE for someone.

Tasha used to just post and promote about product discounts and specials…

Then she made this tweak after sharing this heartfelt story about her son and started asking herself this question before she posted about her business…

What stories of impact have your products had on your life?

For Tasha, those stories are all about confidence!

And not just confidence for her as a product consumer…

But most important Tasha found a solution to help her child have more self confidence….

Now that’s some exciting stuff!

As a mom, making sure your kids are safe and feel comfortable in their own skin…

These are the stories people relate to.

When you start to integrate stories of impact from living a better life, having more confidence, being comfortable in your own skin….

It helps your prospect mentally ‘see’ the impact your product could have on them as well.

Remember, nobody has lost sleep at night, tossing, turning and waking up covered in sweat because their skin cream doesn’t have “hypo-gly-something-sounding-like-a-medical-word”. 😉

No, most people lose sleep at night due to the impact of what they fear is happening in their life…

…like how their poor ______ (you fill in the word: health, weight, finances, attitude) is hurting their family,

…their relationships,

…what they want for the future,

…or how what’s happened in the past that’s causing their present.

People lose sleep at night from the emotional stress of how what they’re doing (or not doing) is impacting the things and people they care about in their life.

So here’s my challenge for you…

Write down all of the stories from what your product has done for YOU and others that you know of (customers or others in your company)

And here’s your next level challenge (you can do it!)…

Start sharing those stories on social media so you can make REAL impactful connections.

Just like Amy has.

Amy is another student that shared her weight loss journey in our group. She shared how impactful her company’s 3 step product has been for her.

Originally she was giving all of the credit to her 3 step process with her products…

But she didn’t realize that her amazing results really came from how she included her 3 step process AND the lifestyle changes that caused her amazing results.

Like choosing to eat differently.

However making changes like that can be a scary thing especially around the holidays…

Think about it…

How many people break their healthy eating habits around the holidays and have to start from scratch all over again because of the emotional connection to the food that’s tradition to eat?

This happened to Amy when she wanted to honor her family’s tradition of making Apple Pie on Thanksgiving, and needed to do it in a way that would match her healthy eating lifestyle.

So she made her apple pie with gluten free crust and taught her following on social media how to make the crust too (so they can keep their traditions alive too :)).

How sweet is that?

During this experiment, Amy learned how to prioritize her health during the challenges around the natural emotional attachments to important holiday traditions.

Think about how many more people can connect with Amy’s story now?

It’s about sharing and creating a conversation that connects with people in their heart.

Think about your efforts to sell or promote your products.

How much time do you spend right now on telling people what the ingredients are, what promotion is happening, how long it takes to minimize your wrinkles after you put on the special cream at night and that your “pill” will solve everyone’s problem?

Wouldn’t it be more effective to share stories and the impact it’s had on you personally?

Ummm yes! 🙂

Because the biggest impact you can make on others is sharing more about is YOU.

You are the determining factor in what the product actually does.

The product by itself is just a powder or a liquid … until YOU use it.

When you use it to create the transformation and share what it has done for you, amazing things can happen.

If you’re only talking about how to lose those 5 pounds, get more energy or get more collagen, then you’re missing out on a lot of sales, a lot of personal reward from your business and a lot of impact for others.

You can reach people at a deeper level with the ability to be able to share from experience and transformation of what’s actually happened…

Because here’s the truth…

Social media is getting crowded.

And you can’t just post the surface level “Try my pills, they’re 50% off” posts anymore.

If you want to stand out, you have to make the shift to promote your business by doing what social media is meant to do…

Being social, creating conversations, sharing stories that create connection and create relationships with people.

Start to look at how you’re sharing information, how you’re promoting your transformations with your products and if you aren’t getting the results you desire (or know you can always achieve higher levels of results)…
